Tip of the Day: When remodeling a bathroom, allow adequate room to access the toilet. Code requires a minimum of 15" from the nearest wall to the
center of the toilet, and 12" to a bathtub or vanity.

...can be overkill. These owners hated their brick fireplace and asked us to come up with a solution. We designed/built a custom maple mantle shelf/surround and covered the upper portion with drywall and paint. Quite the difference, don't you think?
